Add Hasek and Chelios To The List

Both of the ancient vets will sit out tonite, according to Deep Digger captain Ansar Khan(!).
Wings goaltender Dominik Hasek will sit out tonight’s game, and possibly Sunday’s as well, with a sore thigh. Chris Osgood will start in his place and Jmmy Howard, recalled from Grand Rapids, will be the back-up.
Chris Chelios will also miss the game due to a sore groin. Coach Mike Babcock said neither injury is significant.

Wings still have recently-emerged Hart candidate Kyle Calder in our line-up. That’s good.
And worthless plugger Jason Williams should be good for ten turnovers or so in his own zone tonight. That’s good, too.

Speaking of give-aways, I was fortunate enough to be at the Joe last night and Markov was brutal. One of his miscues was saved by Lidstrom, another ... not so much. Why? He was paired with Lilja of course.
