Babcock’s On Board

It’s been way too long since we’ve done a Mike Babcock Consolidated Quote of the Day. From the Joe, a conversation between Uncle Mike and Teddy Kulfan after practice.
MBCQOTD
“Todd, save me three pigs in a blanket. Abadabbadoo’s on the third line with the runt and Drapes. I watched your interwebcamcast Teddy and I could have sworn Kenny said I had a ten-year deal. He meant it too because he paused for 19 seconds in between every word. Did you see that? That’s called emphasis Teddy. That’s enunciation. Kenny’s a serious man Teddy. Teddy. TEDDY. Dammit son. Listen to me. We’re rolling four lines. Four lines kept a rollin’ all night long. Aerosmith. Dream on. Dream on. Dream on while I walk this way cuz Janie’s got a gun Teddy. A big one.”
Uncle Mike’s in rare form, and he’s on board.

Are you sure Babcock wasn’t the 3rd base coach during the “We are Family” days in Pittsburgh?

Great MBCQOTD, and even better photo (the Hasek one posted earlier, as well).
“Abadabbadoo” has my vote for Abdelkader’s official nickname. It can be shouted ala Fred Flintstone for virtually any type of play—good or bad.

Another great foto! Yet, Monty’s suit looks superior to Hasek’s…could lead to sartorial related “issues” with the Czech Miracle of Insanity. My advice, find a tailor, fast.

This has been a brilliantly productive day for you Chief! Thanks for helping laugh off some of the nervous energy.
Babbles is going to be ON this playoffs! He’ll roll lines and matchups like we haven’t seen since Scotty. He’ll F**k Nashville in the Mind, which amazingly also has three teeth.
I’m on the Hasek but am going Manic on these Playoffs; We’re gonna roll some heads people…

What a great outfit! It does kind of have that old Pirates look to it. So now we have the engine and the caboose, we need a picture of the Club Car.

Abbadabbadoo is a real beauty, eh! Chief, I know you’re partial to Home Keys but this is just too good to pass up in my opinion.
Great Stress Train photos today and as always I love the MBCQOTD. You must perform really well under stress, the music references have been quality stuff today.
Let ‘er rip! I’m ready to get this train rolling already!!!
