the “masterminds” article is great reading.  Lots of talk about the league expanding to vegas and detroit moving east, etc.  Moving east sounds good to me ... not sure about vegas ...

A quick note Wings fans.
A game day thread has been posted at the KK Forum.
At times last season we had some great conversation going on there and just wanted to make you aware of it.
The forum is moderated, good discussion between hockey fans is always encouraged.

Agree with ColdWar on the Vegas move.  Horrible, horrible idea and I live in one of the NHL’s ill-expanded cities.  Not saying there aren’t hockey fans in Vegas, but enough to sustain the team?  There are hockey fans in Nashville too…I’m also undecided on a pro sports team in a gambling city.  Not saying the games will be rigged or that well-dressed gentlemen will start showing up in the opposing team’s dressing rooms, but God, don’t we have better market choices somewhere?  Oh, Canada.

And reading the transcript of the Masterminds of Hockey was great.  Kind of wish they’d make it into a coffee table book, complete with pictures and a LOT more discussions.  I think their personalities really came through very well and I’d love to see more of that.
