No not really. But hey, any time I can rile up the Bitter Blues fans? I’ll take it
You guys still awake over there in Saint Lose? I hate to rub it in to any rival fan base. That’s really not what I’m about.
But I’ll make an exception today. Wondering if the dirty salary cap’s gonna hurt The Dynasty? I mean it hasn’t yet, but maybe you were thinking it could in the future while you guys try to lure Big Brett out of his feeding hole for one more kick at the can?
By and large then, there shouldn’t be many changes to the core of the team. They’ll tweak, to be sure, meaning some of the surrounding cast will likely be swapped out for either different or more inexpensive options. Such is life regardless, but especially in a cap system.
You’ve got to have nothing but confidence in the way this organization handles its player personnel though because they’ve been doing such a tremendous job for so long.
100-point season after 100-point season. Ho hum.
Woops. Fu** who?
Don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll “implode” sooner or later. No? No implosion on the horizon? Well, maybe a long-term injury to the captain?
Hah. Strickland. Thought that in all the hubbub over the Finals, I’d forgotten about you? Not so fast dickeroo. Not so fast.

Thanks for the link to the contractual obligations blog/article. And you trashed Strickland and Blues fans as well? These are the kinds of things that give me hope that the world really is a good place… and make me want to pump iron. Anybody else gonna work out before Saturday’s game?

If you want to know why STL fans are not fans of the Wings it is not because of jealousy so much for as disdain for the Wing fans we come in contact with. Talk about dicks. That is what we see on a regular basis. As a season ticket holder I see many fans of different teams come through the gates at Scott Trade Center and the most rude, gloating, and self-absorbed fans are always the Wings fans. Yes we get it. The Wings are a great team and a great organization with a great owner. There is no need to kick a dog in the balls when he is down. Detroit was down for some time before they started this incredible run. STL wants nothing more then to do what the Wings have done. There is no better form of flattery then imitation. Therefore Detroit fans should be appreciative of what they have than being dicks to other fans of the game. Gain a bit of self respect and stop putting those down to pump yourself and your complex up. If that happens there would not be as many attacks from STL. It is just human nature to sling mud when one has just been hit in the face with the same stuff.
Also Strickland is an attention hog living on the edge of obscurity and financial despair. He needs to put this stuff out there to get a name and make ends meet. If Jeremy Rutherford had said the same things those in STL and the rest of hockey might take it more serious. Hockeybuzz is for fools for the most part. In other words half of the Blues fan base thinks Strickland is full of it with some of the stuff he says.

O-Joe that is the exact reason why other fans hate Wing fans and thank you for proving my point. Instead of talking hockey you come back with retorts that have to do with the Brady Bunch and not hockey. I sure you think it is witty but it is not, it is childish and has little base to it. Kinda like how Andy when he whines about the Wings to get attention.
HockeyinHD the hardcore fans think Strickland is a joke and so do the powers that be in STL as he cannot hold down a job on a regular basis that is not Hockeybuzz. To be honest the guy is really a nice guy and helps with the youth hockey in the area but he is grasping at straws in his professional life right now.

BTW: Wings fans who live in other cities are surrounded by people who give them shhh for it. Why wouldn’t they gloat and be arrogant when they get to stick it to those people at a game? I can’t imagine what those transplants have to hear in St. Louis :shiver:
Other teams don’t have the quasi-dynasty that we have, thus their teams have less reason to gloat or be arrogant.
Besides, after you hear enough ragging on the city you grab every bit of ammunition available. At least I do.

Childish? Me? Well, I never…
Look, Loo, I don’t care anymore. Maybe we had something once, but over the last few years it’s gone stale. I’ve pretty much moved on with my life, while you, rather than being happy for me in all the successes I’ve enjoyed, have chosen to be bitter and angry. Oh, and you’ve gotten fat.
Truth be told, Loo, I have a number of sexy new mistresses all biding for my attention. The latest one is named Cindy. She’s Canadian and a model for feminine hygiene products.
What I’m saying is, I don’t know where we went wrong, but the feelin’s gone and I just can’t get it back.

Lack of chlorine is part of it. I think those gene pools are too deep as well, that excess depth allows those diving in to avoid eliminating themselves from the pool.
