Helene St. James spoke with Darren Helm today (really…she said so) and he had this to say about Ville Leino,
While in Grand Rapids, Helm has been on a line with Ville Leino, the talented Finn the Wings signed as a free agent last spring and who, I have no doubt, we’ll also see in Detroit before the season is over.
“He’s a really skilled player,” Helm said of Leino. “He’s got a great shot, great hands. He’s starting to get used to the league a little bit more. He’s come along well and he’s going to be a great player.”
She also said Cleary will be in for a BJ on Friday or Saturday against Boston.
