I’m tired. Tired of my wife kicking my butt in Wii bowling. To quote Appollo Creed, that’s very hard for a man of my intelligence to take. It is, however, what it is.
The solution? A Game 4 Live Blog set to yet another lyric from the greatest folk song of all time. A folk song that kicks the living hell, by the way, out of anything Bob Dylan ever did.

I’d like to see the Wings scoring percentages on odd numbered rushes this series. They’re playing better right now than they have the last two years. Unbelievable.

Young stud reliever for the Yankees, Steinbrenner thinks he should be starting and anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot, but he’s apparently irresistable to gnats in Cleveland.
So you might want to be careful around lakes in the summer when they are hatching.

BTW: Anyone else hearing the audio of what sounds like a puck hitting the pipes?
It’s the on ice mic picking up one of the goalies (3or4, I think) whacking the post with his stick after play has moved on.

I love when you can tell the announcers don’t know the teams at all.
a player mishandles the puck and you get “wow, and [insert name here] is one [insert team here]‘s best puck handlers.”

That Holmstrom penalty was almost as funny as the Zetterberg penalty off the faceoff last game. Good stuff.
Did anyone else notice the “C” on Sakic’s jersey? It’s hideous.
TSN just mentioned that the Red Wing record for goals in a series is 8, set by Mr. Hockey himself. Franzen? He’s got 7 in 3 1/3 games.
That Holmstrom goal was bad. A weak shot a couple inches off the ice, when that should be hard to the top half of the net every time. He’s lucky the pass was ridiculous (fake, no-look, tape-to-tape).

I like the Versus announcers have to pull a 180 after to two quick goals. You could hear the dive admiration come to a streaking halt. It was beautiful.

Is management meddling here and telling Quenneville to keep 3 or 4 in so they can see about getting a better deal for him in the offseason? To this point I thought it was just a bit quirky that Budaj hasn’t gotten more time in this series; it’s blown up to flat-out weird.

He’s a good handler. Probably one of the best (defenseman) puck handlers we have. I mean, one of our strengths is breakout passes. Gotta be decent at puck handling for that.
Good Lord, no, I’m not defending VS. But they do seem to be piling on the praise for the Wings this game - even if it’s a bit misplaced.
