I’m tired. Tired of my wife kicking my butt in Wii bowling. To quote Appollo Creed, that’s very hard for a man of my intelligence to take. It is, however, what it is.
The solution? A Game 4 Live Blog set to yet another lyric from the greatest folk song of all time. A folk song that kicks the living hell, by the way, out of anything Bob Dylan ever did.

Put your make-up (call) on Garcia… there is life in the Dive yet.

Was that a penalty on Holmstrom for being Homer?
Posted by Baroque from Michigan on 05/01/08 at 09:21 PM ET
what a friggin gift by the referees unfuckingbelievable
Posted by RWBill from the Land of 12 in 12. on 05/01/08 at 09:21 PM ET

Posted by yzer19man from Chicago on 05/01/08 at 09:21 PM ET
I think I just peed in my pants a little bit…
Posted by Mike from La-La Land on 05/01/08 at 09:22 PM ET
What the heck did Homer do there to get a tripping penalty?
Posted by Matt Saler from Grand Rapids, MI on 05/01/08 at 09:23 PM ET
That whole sequence there was disturbing on so many different levels, it’s hard to know where to start…
Posted by mudshark from Divetown, Colorado on 05/01/08 at 09:23 PM ET
Homer tripped, hence the tripping call

Great effort double-D!

Good on Versus for debigulating their little promo bar that shows up every now in then.
Posted by Steve from New Jersey on 05/01/08 at 09:26 PM ET
What the hell is Tomtom?
A fancy-ass map. You can get one in exchange for a load of cash and your dignity.
Posted by Matt from Chicago on 05/01/08 at 09:28 PM ET
the avs aren’t going to be able to roll four lines if they want a chance to win this…its nice to see our third and fourth lines getting lots of ice time.
Posted by yzer19man from Chicago on 05/01/08 at 09:29 PM ET
Holmstrom went down again, you sure you don’t want to call him for tripping?
Posted by Clark on 05/01/08 at 09:29 PM ET

they are having trouble on the checking line keeping up with us. despite the make-up goal, we are dominating play right now. nice chances, passes, and ice washes for the goalies thrown in for good measure.

Well Steve, the “fixed” theory is gaining credibility.
Posted by RWBill from the Land of 12 in 12. on 05/01/08 at 09:31 PM ET
Tripping? I’d say he was checking the ice from behind. 5m major.
Posted by lilja4ever on 05/01/08 at 09:32 PM ET
Q did a pre-game interview on TSN, they asked his strategy… keep it simple. that generally doesn’t work against our Wings, and it is showing. Sakic best player on the Dive right now, still love the guy

I’m with you RW.

Thanks Dick Ebersol. Ass.
Posted by Steve from New Jersey on 05/01/08 at 09:33 PM ET
If the Wings keep the pressure on for a full 60, I don’t think there’s any way the Avs can keep up. We can roll more players. Simple.
Posted by stonehands-78 from the beginning ... a WingsFan, on 05/01/08 at 09:35 PM ET
TD, that was the name on his birth certificate originally…. but many thought it too pretentious.
Posted by Mike from La-La Land on 05/01/08 at 09:35 PM ET
More healthy, talented, skilled players, that is.
Seriously.
Posted by stonehands-78 from the beginning ... a WingsFan, on 05/01/08 at 09:36 PM ET
Thanks Ozzie keeping us in the game til we get our wheels back. that bogus call was sure a buzz kill.
Posted by RWBill from the Land of 12 in 12. on 05/01/08 at 09:36 PM ET
K, we need to mop up in front of our own net here. Far to many shots from between the dots.
Posted by Nate A from Detroit-ish on 05/01/08 at 09:36 PM ET
our d aren’t moving their legs enough…lija, stuart, lids…

They don’t have Lilja.

I like Billy Jaffe, I can’t help it. Despite being a Devil fan, the man is just too positive and up front to be an NHL analyst.

I’ve got a tom tom. It’s a GPS deal. I loaded a british chick as my navigator. Her name is Jane. She’s my special friend.

Yep, that’s what I thought, too.

Tigers beat Yankees 8-4 for their first sweep of the Yankees since 1966.
Not a bad way to end your last trip to Yankee Stadium, huh?

Jones is a stud. The kid is as strong as the Mule.
Posted by VooX from Behind the Bar in the Hasek Club Car on 05/01/08 at 09:41 PM ET
They’re letting the Dive drive the net too much
Posted by Chris in Hockey Hell from COLUMBIA, TENNESSEE on 05/01/08 at 09:41 PM ET
Where’s our evener call? I’ve seen the Avs holding sticks.
Posted by Clark on 05/01/08 at 09:43 PM ET
Doing too much stick-checking too
