The polls are closed. And after 119 votes, I’ll admit it. I recorded the first one this morning and it went to Triumph. “Magic Power” is easily in the IwoCPO top ten. I’m also a big Guess Who fan and I even dig me some Neil Young when the time is right.
I can also tell you this: I’ve never listened to a second of a Tragically Hip song, I don’t think. But peer pressure’s a bitch so I stuck ‘em in there. It came down to the wire between Rush and Young, with a push from Ronnie Van Zant’s pal the last 90 minutes or so. The selected lyric? Well, that just fits.
Oh, and Subdivisions? Not the song we chose, obviously. But to set the record straight..."Conform or be cast out..” followed later by “be cool or be cast out.”
I’m just sayin’.
It’s a 3-man genius of a Provincial Live Blog bitches.

RW, I agree where are the Diebold voting machines when you need them?!? Neil Young is so far above the Hip and others listed in cool points, it is like comparing the Wings with the Blues.
Doing the tape-delay blog again, bitches, late shows the past couple of nights which have been cutting into my live hockey viewing. David Suzuki yesterday, and no he didn’t smell like “Otto’s jacket”. Today is heart doctors talking drugs, my favourite, and I may get some nitroglycerine prescriptions to get me through another Lilja-Lebda pairing within the last minute of a close game.
Mac-T has not unpacked his bags since returning home. There are even rumours that he has started to pack the desk in his office, including the anthrax letters sent to him by Burke last year.
If our boys handle the Lube like we did on Monday, we won’t need Miss Cleo to forcast Mac-T’s future.
