I’m keeping it short and sweet.
Little is left to be said that hasn’t been discussed before. After Thursday’s game, the sweet taste of victory was so satisfying I’d like to order a double. Where’s that damn bartender?
It’s St. Patrick’s weekend and you know the drinks will be flowing liberally inside and outside the Hasek. Grab a stool, avoid the pools of vomit, and settle in for a rare game against the Eastern Conference. It will be Miller vs. Miller tonight, and dammit if I’m not rooting for my namesake, Drew, to make his brother look like a fool.
In honour of St. Patty’s weekend I have a special musical selection and only three words left to add.
WIN AGAIN. Bitches.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but if the Wings lose tonight, by the end of the weekend they could be 3 points out of 8th and 5 points out of 7th, the worst situation in weeks and weeks.

This is the Buffalo team that skated rings around the Wings way back early in the year. Lindy Ruff is a very good coach in my opinion. The fact they’re coming off a stinker will make this even more of a physical challenge for the Wings.

The Millers’ mom looks like a really fun lady. She “hates to see Ryan scored on”, but admitted the Wings need all the points they can get and trailed off before coming right out and saying she’s rooting for the home team.

I like Mom’s half-and-half jacket.
And that’s very diplomatic - Buffalo is solidly in a playoff position and doesn’t need the points as Detroit does, so she roots for the brother who needs a little more help to get in the playoffs.
