I may get shot for this, but as much as I hate Lebda, and that hasn’t changed a bit, I find myself WAY more nervous when Jonny has the puck lately. He has really been sucking.

Mikey and me finally agreed on something…...
The Wings did not play very good Wednesday. He was a bit more diplomatic, however about those stupid robotic shots from the point that never make it to the net. Yeah, very nice passing…..how about some shots!
It’s the Panthers tonight, and we shouldn’t need our ‘A’ game,
but at least bring our ‘B’ game. C’mon, keep it simple, play it like it was an away game.

I never watched much of the Canucks back when Big Bert was in his heyday, but it got me thinking. Despite the 50 goals and his bull-like presence, was he just as careless with the puck then? Maybe he was always like this, but his big goal totals covered up his inability to make the smart simple play that doesn’t lead to a TO. For 1.5 mil, I think we are getting what we pay for.
Does the so called #1 line comprised of Bert, Dats and Homer not excite anybody else? (save Pavel of course)

The only reason the May goal was the clusterfuck that it was, was because it didn’t hit the back of the twine. What I mean is it didn’t go in all the way and hit the back of the net like so many goals do. Auld held it but he held it after it had gone in. If the puck took the same path, hit Aulds leg pad like it did, but didn’t get pinned, goal no doubt and LaRue doesn’t look like an idiot.
