Once again, for the second time the last three games, I’ll be missing the live blog tonite, DVRing the game and sitting through an official
function trying not to soil the cloth of our nation. I’ll be receiving your comments and emails throughout and won’t read a single one. Don’t
try to send me notes and trick me either, the ones titled, “Your House Is On Fire”. You almost got me last time but it didn’t work.

NHL Network showing the “Top 10” Detroit/Colorado moments…hate these top 10s, but seeing Patty Wah’s little Statu of Liberty play makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Now they’re showing game 7 of 2002…*sniff*...

I’m out too—for some inexplicable reason, NASN isn’t showing the game live, opting instead to show a repeat of Game 7 of the Sharks-Flames series (???) and showing the as-live feed of this game delayed three hours. Bitch-O-Gram to be emailed to them tomorrow, but it wouldn’t make much sense for me to hang around here.
Make us proud, A2Y faithful. Make us proud, you warriors who wear the winged wheel.

Grandpa is in his rightful place. And while I was out West this last week? I’d like to believe my presence out there led to the poultry losing out on defending the cup against the west..because we all know the Cup should, and will - Grandpa willing, be in the West at the end of this. Good stuff ladies and gentleman (ok, that was a stretch)
Watched the ‘97 fight today and showed it off to a few people at work.
