First there was Sidney, and now there’s Alex…
Marketing tag line? I propose “Hockey Barbies on Steroids. For the kid in you!”

So much for the stupid “soft European” stereotype. Ovechkin is going to kick your a**! Yhen he will rip your arm off and beat you with it!

Did you happen to see the other gems on that website? They have four Lebrons (including Kid Lebron!), Wilt Chamberlain (but it doesn’t come with a gaggle of loose women), a St. Louis Blues tractor trailer (?) and a Calgary Flames Zamboni/corvette combo package.
It’s official now: I don’t understand kids and their toys.

I knew I didn’t understand kids and their toys the first time I heard about the “Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers” and I thought I heard the “Mighty Morphine Power Rangers.”
Actually, maybe that does explain some kids.

They remind me of the action figures for the old Mighty Duck cartoon that Disney produced to promote their hockey team.
All he needs is a duck shaped mask
Not the best pick But there’s s till a resemblance

Alanah McGinley has been blogging hockey since 2003 (with a notable gap in time through 2010, kicking it with new baby Lucy while living knee-deep in chaos while reading “parenting for complete idiots” during every spare minute) sharing opinions, rants and not-so-deep thoughts with anyone who will listen.
In addition to writing Canucks & Beyond and helping manage Kukla’s Korner, Alanah was one of the founders and co-hosts of The Crazy Canucks Podcast. She has contributed pieces to FoxSports.com and the New York Times Slapshot blog, as well as other stray destinations in cyberspace.

I’ve got a few of the old action figures (Dominek Hasek (Sabres) vs Wayne Gretzy (Rangers) and Cam Neely) and they look like players. These things you are showing just look…scary. It’s almost like they had some old molds of American football players and the just changed the hands, head and feet.
