DiPietro and the WWE

image
Islanders’ goalie Rick DiPietro attended The Great American Bash at Nassau Colliseum this past weekend.

“I’m a huge wrestling fan, so I had to come down. I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of good matches,” said DiPietro, a 2008 NHL All-Star. “I have a lot of admiration for what they do. It’s a lot harder than what we do. Hockey and sports-entertainment are both strenuous on your body, but with WWE Superstars the amount of work they put their bodies through night-in and night-out is amazing.”

Wrestling is tougher than hockey? Debatable, I’d say.  But it’s not every day you’ll find undoctored images of NHL goalies about to start licking magazine photo spreads in public, so that’s fun. smile

Is Rebecca DiPietro any way related to Rob?  Just a coincidence, I’m thinking because Rebecca has appeared in a Spring Break Edition of Playboy a few years ago.  She then appeared in a WWE girl search sometime after her appearance in Playboy.

Beautiful woman…

Wrestling is tougher than hockey?

Certainly watching wrestling is tougher than watching hockey.

But maybe that’s just me.
