The Hybrid Proposal

It’s not every day that you can find something worthy of stealing promoting, from the Canucks.com messages boards, but yesterday provided a pleasant surprise.
Given the level of secrecy dedicated to the protection of the new team logo, there’s certainly no definitive way left anymore to surmise the real image from all the misleading clues. So one board member—Pfizer—decided to believe every possibility and created the ultimate: a Canucks Logo Hybrid.

I’m sure plenty of you have already seen it, but for those who haven’t (that is, those smart enough to avoid those message boards like the plague), here is Pfizer’s creation:

I think it’s sort of brilliant, myself.
Hockey Blog in Canada has more speculation about what the real logo is, with some clues provided by Jim Jamieson in yesterday’s Province.

It’s pretty special, isn’t it?!

Wow I can’t believe the hype surrounding the new sweaters. Maybe this will be the new thing for Vancouver - get a new logo every 5 or 6 years.
I’m hopin’ for the cool dark blue/green Johnnie Canuck/Retro stick combos I’ve seen floating around of various sites. My gut tells me we’re going to get a new Orca and the Retro Stick combo in blue/gree/white. I mean what would they do with Fin and that big floaty whale if they changed our logo?
The one thing they should change this year is the DJ. Here’s hoping for new music at GM place this season...please, please, please....

lol looks kind of funny, but the other rumored nux jersey with the streamline blue, and green looks a lot better and the green orca.

Is there any other team in the NHL that has changed their jersey/logo more since they came into the NHL? What are they going onto now, about jersey number 6?
They had the original Blue and Green stick in a rink.
They had the Yellow, Black and Red V sweater.
They had the Yellow, Black and Red Skate Logo.
Then there was the Red, Blue and White Orcha Logo.
Now they’re onto the orcha logo on the original Blue and Green colours.
Just what they need, the 6th different jersey/logo since they came into the league.

Wow.
For future reference; Windex works pretty well for cleaning half-chewed pieces of granola bar off a computer screen.
