I realized yesterday, while my wife was kicking my ass in Wii bowling, that it’s time I led a movement here on A2Y geared toward ramping up the level of conversation regarding this series.  Yes, we’ve been reveling in our juveniliciousness for a couple years.  But, I’ve decided that we need to veer in another direction, a more serious tone.

This is the playoffs, afterall.  It’s not November when we can laugh away a Monday night game against Bubba.  No, this is Game 3 against the Nashville Predators, a determined opponent.  It’s not the time to fall back on the childish antics that have become the norm here.  For those of you disappointed by this sudden change in editorial direction, well...maybe you should grow up too.

Well, maybe tomorrow.

If you haven’t seen it, head over to this thread at Let’s Go Wings.  Hundreds of photoshop images dedicated to the Wing/Bubba matchup. Sorry for the lack of credit to the creator of the image above. Downloaded it last week and now there are like 30 pages on that thread alone.  If anyone runs across it at LGW, please take note of the artist so I can five full credit where deserved.

Keys to Game 3 will be coming up a little later.  Yes, a Live Blog tonite.

What is so dangerous about a character like Jordin Tootoo is he gives good hockey players bad ideas.
