What? Two consecutive days of Legace flashbacks?
Nah, Brah. It was an ode to February, 2008. A piss-pot of a month that actually lasted 29 days due to some Leap Year regulation.

Exactly. Just when we thought nothing could derail the freight train that was our Wings last year, that little punk-ass Laperierre cheap-shots our captain. Kronwall gets hurt. Osgood goes in the tank. Hasek recovers much too slowly and the Stress Train starts-a-chuggin’.
And next thing you know, conference leads started to dwindle, third-period leads disappeared, secondary scoring became a secondary priority, Osgood gets yanked twice in a row, then benched. And the losses piled up. The bellows began from the restless natives. “The deadline will save us,” they yelled. But the deadline didn’t, nor should it have. Tick Tock got us a top 4 defenseman and nature slowly healed some—not all, but some—wounds.

Ozzie and a flock of other Wings are NOT going to the All Star Game this year.
Agreed…blessing in disguise. Get some rest boys, and keep drinking that milk, we don’t want that hangover comin’ back…please, not another February like last years. Take it nice and easy, stay away from golf carts, don’t go near snow-blowers, stray from discussing your ex-girlfriends (with the press), just rest…and drink that milk, it will do a body good.

Speaking of Appletinis, welcome back ‘Scrubs’, the inspiration for my daughters getting me a nice gift pack of Stirrings Appletini mix, complete with a nice shaker. Nice except it’s another not so subtle slam from them that I’m not manning up with the babes enough.
It’s not actually too bad, ‘cept my 17 year old couldn’t buy the Vodka to go with it, or at least couldn’t cop to getting Vodka, but I had some on hand.
