This is a live blog to spite a certain reader who said I wouldn’t show due to the Rocky marathon on Versus. Yes, I watched several hours of Rocky today. And, yes, I’ve stopped watching because the Wings are on. In fact, the Wings are on HDNet tonite. Hasek in net. I have no idea what to expect. I do know that cranberries were available on my dinner table today and I shunned them, because I’m an adult and I eat only the things I enjoy.

Downey draws another penalty just by being near the crease. Another example of what he brings to the team that Drake hasn’t shown us.

Interesting contrast tonite. Wings, in general, look like warmed over crap. Hasek, specifically, looks great.

What is going on..the full moon isn’t until Saturday.

Wings defense are just leaving Hasek naked in the crease. Mick says they are afraid to touch anyone because of tonights officiating.

Dom was excellent, and his teammates let him down. He stopped 16 shots in the 2nd alone, and he was the reason the Wings had an opportunity to win in the 3rd, but the Wings blew it.

In spite of the penalties, Nashville deserved to win that, they dominated the boards from the 2nd period on. I’m with George on the Dominator.
Mason kept the Preds in that game in the first, he looked pretty sharp. Not exactly confident..but right on his game.
Redmond said the Preds home games were almost all against teams that played the night before when NAS was rested.
