Is it an “era”, if the “era” only lasts a few weeks? Depends on the success of said “era” and how deep that “era” lasts into May and June.
Regardless, it Kulfans says it starts Thursday against our former/future rival.
Sounds like Bertuzzi will play Thursday vs. Columbus if he feels he’s ready to go. Still not word on Zetterberg, no timetable as to when he’ll skate, so that’s not great news for the Wings. Franzen will play tonight after missing the last 4 with an upper body injury. Bootland will be a healthy scratch.
We’ll see we can find something a little stronger than “sounds like” from the other Diggers.

I’ll be glad to see Bert on the ice with the Wings. Wonder if he’ll play on line with Datsyuk since Calder/Lang/Filpula is doing quite nicely and Franzen is just back from injury—he’d fit in nicely with Malts and Draper again. Be nice to have some forward line combo options for a change. I’ll go sacrifice an octupus to the hockey gods, maybe they’ll cure Hank in time to get a few games in before the playoffs start.
