Wow. Big day. For the first time in three years, a savant actually used the word “brah” in the comment section.

Your booze cabinet, my beer drawer… works out the same Gramps. And regardless of goalie temperature, we seem to have a diabolical propensity towards making middle of the road goalies look great.
I’ve given up on pregame predictions this season. The good old coin flip seems to be about right, heads we play.. tails we screw around 50+ minutes a game and decide when to turn it on in the final 10 or less minutes based off how many goals we need to score to tie it up.
Beer run now so as not to run out at an inopportune moment, as the inopportune moment is the precise time the last one is empty!

Everytime I see guys using “Brah” to address one another, I think of those idiotic Guido Gotti douchebags (how the hell did they get their own TV show to begin with anyway?) and their fake tans.
One of these guys is giving his “brah” a BJ later.
Anyway, I agree with Gramps that the Wings can’t even slack off against the Jackets. They ran over the Dives 6-1 and I expect the exact same intensity from them. Should keep our boys motivated.

I apparently am completely retarded when it comes to figuring out how long something will take, and am unable to say no - as a result I have been overcommitted, overworked, overstressed, overwhelmed, and underslept and underhockeyed for the last few months. I just don’t have the stamina I had about 20 years ago.
On the plus side, I managed to make myself close to indispensable at work! Yay for staying employed in a crappy economy!

I haven’t had the time to do anything more that lurk - you guys are dang hard to keep up with when I’m out working most nights.
This is actually the first game ALL SEASON I’ve been able to see as it happens. Everything else was DVRed and about a week later. I think I’m all caught up.
(BTW, if I get a little strange, blame the OTC cold medicine. I hab da sniffles.)

Alright, I’ll take the heat if we end up on the wrong side tonight. My prediction: we win 7-1, Dats and Hank both score two, with Fils, Maltby and Cleary getting the other three. The PP goes 4-7, with Happy picking up three assists. And the Conk only has to make 16 saves, and the BJ’s lone goal will come on their second 5-on-3, as they will fail to score on their first 5-on-3.
Now if that all happens, I’m probably going to fear for my life, because it would have to mean something very bad’s about to happen.
