Brady Gets A Break And Magic From Gabe

I think we’ve stayed pretty true to something over the years. We’re gonna blast some people, but when they deserve it…we’ll give them credit where it’s due.
Adam Brady has played the whiny bitch role to perfection for several months now, particularly the last few days. But kudos to him for this.
There are a variety of emotions a hockey fan will experience when his team wins a big game—elation, relief, vindication, etc.
Guilt is usually not one of them.
But I couldn’t help but feel a tinge of it when the final horn sounded last night on a tense 2-1 victory for the Ducks over Detroit in Game 3. And I think we all know why.
He’s got a few other amazingly objective takes on last night’s game in there too. Us? Well, I think I’ve calmed down a bit. I think it’s time to just let last night’s game…drift away.
Fu** that.
Gabe?

One more thing. I’m going to whine about this for years. And that’s just the way it is. It’s a prime example of what a freak show garbage fest our league has become. Gary Bettman is to blame because I like to think that leaders take responsibility for clusterfu**s just as they do for success.
Did the Wings start poorly? Yes. But let’s get something straight. How they played the first 59 minutes has nothing to do with what happened immediately afterward. They were shafted. We all were. It’s as simple as that.

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
