Changes In Latitude, Changes in….We’ll See.  It’s A Give It Right Back To Barry Live Blog

A few issues.  First, I’ve decided Live Blogs for road games will feature lyrics specific to the state in which the Wings are playing.  Oh, I know.  It’s nutty.  But that’s who I am.

Secondly, I’ve decided to decree something.  I’m not sure if I spelled “decree” correctly, but decreeing I am.  Any game in which the Wings are outshot, I’m decreeing it a loss.  And my decree will be so public as to snap the Wings out of their bowls of milk (hangovers).

It’s a Live Blog bitches.  A post-hangover Live Blog featuring the guy who’s picked against the Wings in practically every series the last five years.  Your thoughtful prose is welcome, along with your courtesy and restraint (Stones reference).

I think Draper misses the net just as consistently as Sammy. He just gets 1/3 the shots.

That was a beautiful play!

Gabe, I thought that was Kronner with the big hit in the first.  Stu’s been riding people off the puck, but not rattling any bones.

Difference is that Draper isn’t on the second line.  And he’s good defensively.

It was, but I thought Stu had a good hit too.  I might must be thinking of hte play where he tied up the guy on the breakaway. I blame the drink.

MO, some of the home-team announcers are better than others..  I’d put these clowns just below the Anaheim duo.

Deuce, I think we’re talking about different feeds.  We’re getting the local Tampa Bay announcers and, while you expect the local FS guys to be homers, these guys are whining up a storm.

Of course I think Ken and Mickey are among the best in the league.  I also have to say I’m pretty impressed with the guys in San Jose.

The league was too busy trying to get GBB a power play to worry about the Wings going down 5-on-3, Gabe.

The Tampa Bay guys were also complimenting Holmstrom with the remark that other teams should look to find someone who can emulate what he does.

I honestly feel bad for you guys that don’t get to listen to Mikkey rant like a mad man about all the calls on a regular basis.

Oh what the hell was that?!?!?!?!

I’ll give ‘em that, Monkey.  But it seems like they don’t have an appreciation for all that Homer does and how hard it is to be the guy standing right in the line of fire, getting pounded in front of the net, trying to deflect the puck.
