A few issues. First, I’ve decided Live Blogs for road games will feature lyrics specific to the state in which the Wings are playing. Oh, I know. It’s nutty. But that’s who I am.
Secondly, I’ve decided to decree something. I’m not sure if I spelled “decree” correctly, but decreeing I am. Any game in which the Wings are outshot, I’m decreeing it a loss. And my decree will be so public as to snap the Wings out of their bowls of milk (hangovers).
It’s a Live Blog bitches. A post-hangover Live Blog featuring the guy who’s picked against the Wings in practically every series the last five years. Your thoughtful prose is welcome, along with your courtesy and restraint (Stones reference).

Am I justl numb from the last game, or is this a really slow, boring start?

Maybe it’s the lights. Makes me think it’s sleepytime.

Godzilla not a Cap still sounds odd to my knot head

Forwards trying to do too much cycling down low. I’d like to see them get the D-men more involved in the zone.

Didn’t Lecavlier wear 19 once upon a time?

Of course they start doing it right as I’m typing about it…

Has Franzen even been on the ice? I’m serious. I haven’t even noticed him yet.

First whistle. Get ready for the rain.

You can tell Mick’s spitting all over the mic.

Lilja knocked him down with his mind.

Fil just got away with a hook twice as bad as the one that put us down 5-3 on Tuesday.

damn. Kronwall over commuted on the blue line. And Ozzie I’d living up to his .880 sv%

Watch what happens when beer and keyboard collide…;)

One of the TB announcers said it…I think.
Probably not a good sign of hangover relief when a guy with six chins breezes up the wing without being touched then scores.

Watching Pit/Phi during commercial break and “hockey’s best player” just slid into the boards without much help from Braydon Coburn.

Same here JJ. We must have tuned in at exactly the same time. And the call was “holding”.

What a weird period. Best scoring chance by Maltby and Lilja as the best Wings D-Man on the ice.

Hossa’s been invisible. Time to let him see what it’s like on the 2nd line…let’s reunite the Circus for a bit.

Z of all needs the attaboy. Give it a ride for 20 minutes. What’s to lose?
Seriously. Somethings gotta give.

Ha! I just had a thought. Wouldn’t it be funny if that Wings just kept playing like this and actually missed the playoffs?
Ha…

I’m glad I filled the beer drawer, looks like I might need it… thanks Gabe.
Posted by MOWingsfan19 on 11/13/08 at 08:17 PM ET
That was God-awful. Our star players are playing worse than guys like Maltby, Kopecky…Lilja…
Posted by Tyler from Arizona on 11/13/08 at 08:19 PM ET
What the hell does Tomas Kopecky bring the to team?
Bring Leino up and give Z someone to work with.

Quiet soft spoken Nik needs to slam the locker room door and kick everyones a$$ starting with his. There are times that hell need be raised. This might be one.

No pressure in the zone. Nobody going to the net. High-risk cross-ice passes at our own blue line. This is not Red Wings hockey.

After last year, if they didn’t build a concrete house it’s their bad Chief.
Posted by MOWingsfan19 on 11/13/08 at 08:22 PM ET
hey Chief don’t forget Mullet hippocracized the past two years by calling us one of the top five best run franchises in the world. I feel dirty and sorry for Stamkos. His personal friend gives him the job and he kisses Tick-Tock’s butt. Limited shelf life.
Posted by VooX from Behind the Bar in the Hasek Club Car on 11/13/08 at 08:24 PM ET
Wonder if the Mullet has a back door open to return to EPSN with the odd chance he gets the boot?
Posted by MOWingsfan19 on 11/13/08 at 08:27 PM ET
Kopecky is one of our hardest workers and is great at getting the puck around…

A Wing pp would make me smile right now.

Screw this. Forget calling the next goal. Who do you have for the next turnover?
