Gotta vote for Datsyuk for the Byng. I mean, how can E.T. not win that one? Some pimp makes a trail of Reese’s Pieces that leads to a darkened alley, and Dats is forced to gun down a hooker right before the show for f*@^ing with him like that?

I’d go Datsyuk Byng. Zetterberg Selke. And does anyone know the last coach to win the Adams and Stanley in the same season?

Datsyuk with the Byng is the obvious choice.
Who, 6 votes so far, is picking Z for Selke? And I though I made too many drug references…

I think Dats is taking both the Byng and the Selke tonight.
And after the hitting we saw in the playoffs, I don’t think we’ll be seeing him up for the Byng again.

I think Datsyuk only had six penalty minutes in the entire postseason, all of them against the Penguins.
The only thing that keeps him from winning the Byng in future years is the league wanting somebody else to get a turn at the hardware that should eventually be named after him.

C’mon, it’s not that far back. Tortorella in 2004.
The only other times were way back in the 70’s, though (Shero in ‘74, Bowman in ‘77).

Dats should win both the Byng and Selke, but I have a feeling somebody else is gonna win the Selke… And he better be named Hank.
Boudreau’s gonna take the Jack Adams award, and I have no friggin clue on the Masterton- but if they give it to Cheli, I’ll be mildly surprised…
And nothing more need be said about Norris Nick.
