Slowly, the ailing continue to return. No surprise, since the Diggers have been reporting it for a few days. But now we know for sure: Doug Janik back to GR. Jonathon Ericsson back in the lineup.
Babcock said he’ll probably play Ericsson and Brett Lebda together to start but that Ericsson also will be paired with Brad Stuart.
“I’ve been skating now for the last week and a half. It feels good,’’ Ericsson said. “When you skate out there, there’s not a lot of game situations. Not a lot of battling, going hard in short spurts, things like that. That’s been the problem since I got back on the ice, small things, quick movements. It’s a real test, the first game I’m playing.’‘
Leino’s sitting. May’s in. Jim Howard gets his tenth straight start, because that’s what starters do. Oh, and from the other night?

Yep. I’m sticking with Hangover lines until they run dry or until the Wings lose in horrific fashion.
Horrific loss? Check. Hangover? Done.
LB tonite, probably featuring some long lovely dancers at a little club downtown, starts at 1830. Lack of quality posts the last 24 to 40 hours is disturbing, I know. Trying to work one in soon.

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
