Did You Get That Live Blog From A Kitty Next Door?

For some reason, we’ve attached ourselves to Saturday’s win.

RWBill

The dedication from every last player on every shift the last 30 minutes of the game was remarkable.  No team can play that way all game all season.  This determination was finally rewarded, albeit culminated in a truly bizarre Bertuzzi shootout goal.

Great heart, Wings, and you really can’t underplay what a huge win this was, one of the biggest regular season wins in recent Wings history.

You may consider that a bit dramatic.  I don’t.  Two straight shutouts, a third period deficit, a kid goalie in hostile waters, a dumbass crowd chanting the wrong name and a serial killer with the game on his stick.

Noted.

A lot of you feel that may have been the game.  That one game.  The turning point in a season that has tasted like curdled, warm, lumpy, fetid milk.

I happen to agree.  And I’ve turned to Ted Nugent to confirm it bitches.

It’s a Live Blog and, at Ted’s direction, we’re doin’ it for free.

Nothing would make me happier than to see Bombtuzzi get a couple tonight.

Okay, that’s a lie, but it’s the only thing in my life right now that could, hypothetically, go right.

In the OT period, he and Helm really looked like they could feed well off of each other, but the chances of them playing on the same line are… yeah.

Howdy, all. I’ll attempt to illegally watch from work tonight ... any tips on a feed? (As an aside, I’m applying for a promotion at work—one of the the reasons I want the job is because I’ll get my own office, and thus the ability to illegally watch hockey games at work without getting caught.) wink

Sports fan insanity has an explanation!

Here.  It’s about college football, but the emotions are identical.

In the past, researchers have thought of positive and negative emotions experienced in entertainment as cancelling each other out, David said. But this research suggests that both positive and negative emotions act independently and together to contribute to entertainment and enjoyment.

“You need the negative emotions of thinking your team might lose to get you in an excited, nervous state,” Knobloch-Westerwick said. “If your team wins, all that negative tension is suddenly converted to positive energy, which will put you in a euphoric state.”

Just got in.  Good evening, everyone.

Hello boys and girls. How are we all feelin tonite? MO, good too see you around again, and I’m glad you didn’t get gored by a buck. Seriously, happened to a friends dog last winter.

For those who need it channel surfing (all one word) dot net has a feed, even with FSD.

I want goals from Pavel. Lots of them. Helm too cause he’s been a good little soldier. And some confidence for Lieno. And a 2, 5, and 10 for Brendan Morrow wouldn’t hurt my fantasy team either.

For all the shit I give Gary, I have to admit this ability to watch up to four games at once is pretty farking cool. Although I doubt Gary has anything to do with the video playing ability of the Gamecenter player. I have three games going right now, every game is crystal clear and no bogging down at all. So thank you to those people at nhl.com for being able to produce such a high quality player. And Gary? you’re still an Ass.
