The odd relationship between you, the A2Y 19, and I continues.
I wrote a post the other day, one that was rife with startling coincidence and generational metaphors that should have left all 19 of you more than a little shaken at my abilities to tie seemingly unrelated pop cultural milestones to current Red Wing late breakers.
Instead, you elected to point and laugh at me. At least one of you questioned my loyalty to America’s greatest rock and roll band simply because I mentioned the Sammy Hagar era. I know. Much of America is still split into the Hagar and Roth camps. It was a gutsy move on my part, sure to irritate many of you.
But what you didn’t know at the time?
Is that I saw this coming bitches.
Speaking of old fat guys past their prime but still hanging on, your boy Gary has shafted us again. It looks like Wings/Hawks from Chicago on 1 Jan.
Traditional New Year’s Eve game? Disregarded. Thanks Gary. Ass.
Filling the Big House or Ford Field with a UM/MSU appetizer? Too good of an idea. Not gonna happen. Thanks Gary. Ass.
41,000 at Wrigley Field? 2,000 tickets, at my estimation and that may be hopeful, for Wing fans? Thanks Gary. Ass.
Mikey ought to push back just on principle.
