Good Gawd, 5 GA this game, 4 the last game. Our 3.40 avg, already 24th is going to get worse.
Yes but playing down 2 goals is fine by me. 2 goal lead is the worst lead in hockey.

If Todd Bertuzi was a quarterback, he’d have a QB rating of 0. Has he completed a single pass tonight?
And if he were a linebacker he’d be rocking 0 tackles as well, considering he refuses to hit.

We are NOT going to win games this year if we have to score more than 3 goals to do it—given all of the talent we lost.
IF the “D” cannot keep the opponent under 3, we simply aren’t going to win many games.
The Staff knew this going into the season, and were suppossedly commited to improving the GA.
Time for a new plan.

Hey, if the Oilers can score three in the first, we can score three in the third. I want to see more skating, more moving the feet to drive the net and maybe draw some penalties. Two posts sucks, but if they keep playing aggressive, they can do this.

The next three goals are huge.
TSN just showed an amazing Stamkos highlight reel. Kid looks great without Melrose. Awesome talent developing. I never did send him that letter, but will before his contract is up. I won’t mention the part about making him cry when we were younger.

Saying with the loss of Hossa, Samuelsson, Hudler, and Franzen we lost 60% of our scoring since the SCF. And that loss in scoring is showing our goaltending weaknesses as the Wings can no longer guarantee they can outscore their opponents nightly.
