Four Bloggers Via Mirtle

Updated 2020 EST with the final two bloggers.

Two Wing bloggers.  Two Pens bloggers.  All of them objective and wholesome as the driven snow.  James Mirtle asked the bustling staffs of A2Y, PensBlog, On The Wings and Empty Netters to provide insight into The Greatest Final Ever.

So far, Matt Saler and Seth Rorabaugh have weighed in.

PensBlog and the frigging Chief chimed in later.

A suggestion for the Haiku question:

Chris Osgood of course
Sydney Louganis dives well
Conn Smythe is ashamed

Although they pale in comparison to the Chief’s “cocoa puffs after dinner,” here are my two stabs at the Conn Smythe haiku (from Seth Rorabaugh’s post @ Mirtle):

“Hank,” “Zata,” “Z.”
By any name you choose
Zetterberg seizes Smythe.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Zetterberg flying high
Makes Marc-Andre cry like
Turco, Theodore, Ellis.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. Your suggestions and critiques are welcome: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
