Khan(!) has a Mule sighting, the Friday practice lines, and Jimmy in net:

Jimmy Howard, who will make his 11th consecutive start in net, is 1-3 lifetime vs. Dallas, with a 2.28 goals-against average.

No changes to the line combinations or defense pairings in practice Friday:

Bertuzzi-Datsyuk-Zetterberg
Miller-Filppula-Cleary (Franzen, on IR, working in)
Draper-Helm-Eaves
May-Abdelkader-Maltby (Leino working in)

Lidstrom-Rafalski
Meech-Stuart
Lebda-Ericsson
Lilja (IR)

Osgood

Mike Heika, Dallas Morning News, thinks Auld may start between the pipes:

Alex Auld could get the start in goal. He last started Jan. 5 at New Jersey, a 4-0 loss. ... James Neal is expected to move back to the top line with Brad Richards

Heika also notes DAL struggles on the blueline:

Nicklas Grossman still is bothered by his injured knee, and Maxime Fortunus was sent back to the Texas Stars of the AHL on Friday, so Saturday will see another shuffle of the Stars defensive pairs as they seek the right mix among a group that has struggled mightily this year.

With Grossman out, Mark Fistric has stepped forward for a couple of games and played beside Stephane Robidas, posting contests of 24 and 22 minutes. But last game, coaches decided to ride Matt Niskanen to 26:24 in ice time. It’s an interesting situation every night to see who is fitting with whom and what situations call for.

For the Stars, the opportunity for young players to grab big minutes has been present all season – in fact, maybe too present. A young group of defensemen who are paid the least in the NHL as a group have been exposed at times by top level teams who have obviously scouted the Stars and know that the easiest way to victory is to attack the back end with heavy pressure. It’s like putting a rookie cornerback out in football – the opposition can smell the blood.

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
