Wings fans, feel free to poke fun at the team we cheer for - it’s what you do in sports - but never question the loyalty of our true fan base.
Garcia had long hair and makeup and was wearing an Avalanche jersey, according to authorities.

I don’t know that not scoring on any of that retardiveness won’t hurt the Wings at some point.

Avs did a pretty good job of tying things up in front of Budaj and not letting the wings at the rebounds.

Mudshark, I wouldn’t call this “intent to injure” territory. They look like they’re trying to turn the game around with a big hit and completely losing their composure.

It’s crazy that 2(!) measly points in the regular season standings prevented a Wings-Dallas series in round 2. The Avs completely suck and I don’t think Forsberg would be making much of a difference. After watching San Jose-Dallas last night, the Wings have to be counting their blessings on that 2 point gap in the standings....

I’m not worried about not scoring on Budaj. If he starts game 3, The wings will score on him too. I only want them to score on him to shut the analysts up about how he’s looked unbeatable in his replacement roles.

Wings need to play hard in the 3rd but beware the make up calls. God hope we can keep them off the board for the first 10 minutes.

Wings winning back the Detroit fans. This team is hustling and busting ass. Fans are tired of the arrogance of the Pistons’ players and their apparent feeling of entitlement. That said I would love to see the Pistons come back and win the series.

Funny, I’ve known a few guys named Cody, and they weren’t the penalty-committing type - and yet both Codies were in the box at the same time.
Franzen had the first two goals, yes? So, to uphold my coworker’s “Mule Theory” Colorado should either remain scoreless or score one goal - since his hypothesis is that Franzen only scores game-winning goals. When the last game was 4-1 he knew that Colorado would score two more.
Johan Franzen - the latest example of the Red Wings’ dastardly plan to slooooooowly drain the nation of Sweden of its hockey talent, one late-round draft pick at a time. (Slow, but so far effective.)
I still want to see Datsyuk score a goal before the end of the game.

Actually Red, the first opposing player I can remember grabbing the octopus was one of the Oilers last year...before they eliminated the Wings.

MacLeod should have been tossed.
from the NHL rulebook, #23.7:
Any player, goalkeeper or non-playing Cub personnel who
physically interferes with the spectators, becomes involved in an
altercation with a spectator, or throws any object at a spectator, shall
automatically incur a game misconduct penalty and the Referee shall
report all such infractions to the Commissioner who shall have full
power to impose such further penalty as he shall deem appropriate.

I blame Lebda after watching the replay, he had an open clear up his near board out of the zone so Draper left the far boards for center ice, so Chelli had no support up his board.
