Guralnick In Rare Form

Browsing the Detroit News this morning….insert your own line here…and I realized A2Y’s photographer of choice David Guralnick’s been on fire in TC. If you haven’t been following the DetNews Wing blog, he’s been posting photos there since the big boys opened camp last week.
I like Guralnick’s stuff because, according to my very limited and juvenile photographic viewpoint, he seems to enjoy being a bit more creative than his counterparts at the other local rags.
He’s also not afraid to dip into the archives when things slow down. Below you’ll see a touching view of Robert Lang taking some personal time during last year’s camp.

Off a maintenance catwalk, maybe.
I like his stuff a lot. He really has a good eye for artistic composition and capturing motion, and most photographers with an eye like that are working for magazines instead of newspapers.
I take it Lang is the taller one?
