We said $1000.00 was our short-term goal and it took you about thirty hours to reach it. You guys are unbelievable.
If you’re interested in donating to the “Herm To Hockeytown” concept..hold on to your money for a day or two. I want to see where we stand on how much more cash we need before we open it back up.
Now the fun part begins and that’s planning in earnest. This is generating some good interest around the hockey world and within the organ-I-zation. More to follow on something we’re working on, something that could be a very, very cool surprise for our little Brazilian buddy.
Classy, classy move by Wild Nation at the link above. Thanks man. If there are other bloggers out there talking about this (like at Japer’s Rink), send me an email. I want to be sure you get thanks and recognized by the 19. Herm’s talking about it in some strange dialect here.
And just to give you a hint how diverse the 19 are, as well as fans of hockey, the last four donations we’ve received are from New Mexico, Los Angeles, Great Britain and Hungtington Beach.
A bit more about the cap we’ve established. I just want to be sure we get enough to make this happen and no more. I don’t want to fund Herm’s growing collection of Gary Bettman Glamour Shots. Once he buys the plane ticket, that will give us an idea whether we need to ask for more, or what.

This is incredible. I was traveling the other day and missed the donation deal. If we need a few more bucks, I don’t have much, but would gladly throw in what I can, even if it’s just a 10-spot.
Lots of great Wings fans. Hopefully Czar Hahn takes notice and doesn’t squander what is a fantastic opportunity for some PR goodwill.
