I guess it goes without saying that should the Wings take a 2-0 lead? You can start thinking about the lame excuses you’ll use to get out of work for the parade. Pens win? Little Gary rejoices and we’ve got ourselves a series.

Incidentally, CBC had a great story from the Legends of Hockey night. They asked Gordie Howe if he had any regrets from the old days, and he said he regretted that Rocket Richard died. Because they really found on the ice, and Mr. Hockey said he regretted that he didn’t have the chance to become friends with him after they retired. Old number Nine. Pure class.

Rafalski had pinched in from the point on that PP, but then stumbled. Too bad-- he was in prime position to take a pass across the slot and shoot while Fleury’s attention was on the short side.
Let’s have a good solid PK. Don’t give ‘em a sniff.

I revise my previous comment - it isn’t just the defensemen that aren’t talking to their goaltender, none of the players seem to be communicating well with each other.
They’ve played in loud arenas before, so it can’t be that.
Does anyone know if they were this discombobulated during the season?
