I guess it goes without saying that should the Wings take a 2-0 lead? You can start thinking about the lame excuses you’ll use to get out of work for the parade. Pens win? Little Gary rejoices and we’ve got ourselves a series.
Reminder: Predict the game’s first scorer in the comments. First one to get it right gets a program from Game 1.

CBC has Franzen on the second line and Hudler on the fourth with Helm.
Anyone’s guess how long that holds up. Probably depends almost entirely on how Franzen is feeling.

Did you guys know the Pens lost the first game? I have no idea who won, but the Pens definitely lost. They played way below their capabilities apparently....I wonder how that ahappenned....

I don’t think I should pick who should get first goal. Last time it worked out better when I started insulting Sammy and then he scored HUGE. So I need another Wing to be a little tough on and then we’ll see. Maybe Malts?

on Datsyuk learning how to play the body...it probably makes him better able to understand the checking game so he can avoid checks, see them coming, and know when he’s vulnerable. he is becoming a forceful power forward.

Wings definitely using the boards to get out of the zone. Pens haven’t tried much of them long passes from their own zone either. Adjustments all around.

Of course they showed the anthem - they took one look at Karen Newman’s blouse, reeled in their tongues, and put that on the screen pronto.

Osgood needs to stop throwing the puck around the boards. the puck almost always ends up on the other team’s stick. he usually would have been better just letting his teammate nearby have it.

I was thinking about my boy Drapes and almost picked him but then again he did get a goal off his face in the last Dallas game, so I thought I’d take it a little easy on him since he is playing his ass off. Malts could step it up and put one in though.
