Here You Go Rumbear

Our pal Rumbear, an original member of the 19, just left a sobbing comment on the now two-day old live blog…something about Marty’s “V” hurting readers’ eyes.

I understand and I’m working on a post as we speak.  Patience grasshopper.

And what did you expect? A post 8 hours after an OT loss?

Umm.  No. I’m just recovering now.  More in a few.

It was a loss but… it was Dallas’ best game of the year, the Wings didn’t play horribly(sp), they did get a point and if the refs would have called 1 of 3 penalties (closing glove on puck, Hossa being interferred with or Ozzie getting clipped) I don’t believe Dallas would have tied the game.  That being said if the Wings play that way against the Poultry or Charlie Tuna they will get their asses handed to them.

Oh Rummy…Rummy Rummy Rummy…we don’t mention the lack of posts after a loss.  It’s like when Dad started drinking and we just knew to sit quietly and wait it out….

..or in RWBill’s case, it was time to head down to the basement for magical family porn hour…but that’s neither here not there…

The point is we’re family, and as such, we don’t openly discuss each others’ shameful habits.

Except RWBill’s.

wink

Thanks Chief!  My V is happy!

Back for the game tonight.  Wings at the Honda Ponda ..... means a blackout down here in impoverished Sandy Eggo.  Yes, Little Gary makes us all honorary Duckfarts for a day as we are in their marketing sphere of influence…ergo, no broadcast on Direct TV.

I’ll be looking for the live link.

Just another “Thanks Gary. Ass.” moment in hockey history

Completely disagree, this was one of the team’s worst games this season. They got an early 2-goal lead and got lazy. That’s pathetic, sad, and weak. That doesn’t win playoff games.

Will they be better for it in the long run? Probably. This team always responds well to “lessons learned” type of games.

Either that or Uncle mike empties a roll of nickles into a sock and provides the team with some adversity.

We don’t need to see another game like that.

We’ve hit a new low.

And I’m just fine with that.
