...you put the Duck’s head on a block of wood. Hold it down and flick the beak for a few minutes, just to torture it. Do Ducks even have beaks? Is that how “beak” is spelled?
Then you chop it off. The whole thing. The head and the beak, beek.
This game is very important. The most important regular season game of the month so far.
So I thought we’d drink a little, and have ourselves a Live Blog.

Here’s the thing. If the Wings keep this play up, I’m fine. Even if we lose. I can chalk it up to bad bounces, whatever. It’s when we blow a 3 goal lead and get outshot in the 3rd that pisses me off. The team is pressing right now...it’ll pay off if they can just keep it up.

I hate to go back to the bounces argument, especially since I’ve equated good bounces with hard work, but really, some of the rebounds have stayed out of the net on the sheer force of the fact that it went left instead of right or that it bounced out three feet instead of four. We’ve got guys around it, the puck’s just not getting to them. Credit some of that to the Ducks’ D-Men and some to bad luck.
