Oh yes he did. The Chief whipped out a Vincent Furnier lyric for a live blog. That, in itself, should indicate just how important I (back to the first person, thanks) feel tonite’s game is.
Why is it important?
Because I have to invent reasons to stay up for the late, late games.
Don’t know Vince? Oh alright. Alice Cooper. And he’s from Hockeytown bitches.
It’s a Live Blog and your objectivity, tact and mild manners are more than welcome.
A couple of insider notes from Mike Chen at Battle of California:
-Joe Thornton’s groin injury seems more obvious with each game. He simply doesn’t use his legs or lower body to protect the puck the way that he normally does, and assuming he didn’t just revert into a craptacular player over the off-season, I’m assuming this is the lingering effects of his injury.
-For all you King fans…um…well, I see what you were complaining about with Rob Blake.

What’s everyone drinking?
So I started with the Captain ‘n Cokes about 90 minutes before the game…and just before the 2nd I tripped (stumbled) and may have broken the ring finger on my right hand as I jammed it on the wall…
I just noticed it’s about twice the size it’s supposed to be…
...
That can’t be good…?

Umm… Is the ref sure he never lost sight of the puck? ‘Cause even after the replay, it looked like Conk had it covered until SJ was allowed to whack at it again.

William Tell just makes me mad every time he’s on the ice. Especially when he’s taking up a valuable space on the second line and second PP unit. Babs needs to see past the booming shot, because it doesn’t make it to the net 99.8% of the time.

Chief, I wouldn’t even being to know what the Jonas Brothers sound like, so I guess I’m insulated from the pain. I’ll try to only notice the PA if they play anything decent.
MO, speaking of Scotty, despite where he put Feds, would NEVER have put William Tell on the blue line…

Stupid thing is as pee poor as the Wings have played since the opening 2 minutes they can still tie this game. But they have to stop giving SJ point blank opportunities.
