The polls are closed. And after 119 votes, I’ll admit it. I recorded the first one this morning and it went to Triumph. “Magic Power” is easily in the IwoCPO top ten. I’m also a big Guess Who fan and I even dig me some Neil Young when the time is right.
I can also tell you this: I’ve never listened to a second of a Tragically Hip song, I don’t think. But peer pressure’s a bitch so I stuck ‘em in there. It came down to the wire between Rush and Young, with a push from Ronnie Van Zant’s pal the last 90 minutes or so. The selected lyric? Well, that just fits.
Oh, and Subdivisions? Not the song we chose, obviously. But to set the record straight…“Conform or be cast out..” followed later by “be cool or be cast out.”
I’m just sayin’.
It’s a 3-man genius of a Provincial Live Blog bitches.

Like the Buick commercial with Tiger and he bounces the ball 4-5 times off the driver and then turns his hips and slams it…. like its childs play.

Oh, I can imagine. I got to play goal in a pick up game w. some college players in CA, so not exactly Hobey Baker material. I couldn’t BELIEVE how hard they shot the puck. I had bruises from shots that hit me square on the chest protector. Bruises on shots that hit the thin spots over the joints are normal, but the middle is pretty solid.

I don’t mind the juggling, but having william freaking tell on the top line of a team with this much freaking talent is offensive in too many ways.

Hoss just makes many plays look rather easy
He’s just ridiculously strong on the puck. I can’t even walk as well as that guy can protect the puck.

Hos is ridiculous with the puck, it just looks different when it’s on his stick compared to everyone else (not necessarily the best, just unique.) Looks like a human vacuum when it’s lying 5 feet in front of him and he pulls it back into possession with one hand. Dude’s good.

If you’re a Pens fan and you live with the unreasonable expectation that a guy who played with you for like 12 seconds is required to devote the rest of his existence to servicing Pittsburgh and it’s fans, then I could see how.

Pens fans don’t count. Their proven mental shortcomings almost requires them to boo somebody as cool as Hossa. It’s not like he even wanted to go to their team in the first place.

I think the reason the Oilers fans aren’t booing Hossa is that they can respect him saying that he wanted to play for a chance at the cup. Being a fan in Edmonton and looking at the Wings, you’d have to be crazy to say that he made a mistake and should have signed with the Oil.
Pens fans have a bit more delusion to go off of.
