The polls are closed. And after 119 votes, I’ll admit it. I recorded the first one this morning and it went to Triumph. “Magic Power” is easily in the IwoCPO top ten. I’m also a big Guess Who fan and I even dig me some Neil Young when the time is right.
I can also tell you this: I’ve never listened to a second of a Tragically Hip song, I don’t think. But peer pressure’s a bitch so I stuck ‘em in there. It came down to the wire between Rush and Young, with a push from Ronnie Van Zant’s pal the last 90 minutes or so. The selected lyric? Well, that just fits.
Oh, and Subdivisions? Not the song we chose, obviously. But to set the record straight…“Conform or be cast out..” followed later by “be cool or be cast out.”
I’m just sayin’.
It’s a 3-man genius of a Provincial Live Blog bitches.

Overall I think we’re good so far Nate. A bit sloppy for only moments, otherwise solid. Kopecky is doing his best Homer impression, and it’s working so far.

I like Kenny pointing out how Franzen benefitted from Homer being out. Hopefully this will be a boost for CokeandPepsi’s confidence and the kid can turn into a power forward like he should.

I know some people are down on Drapes but I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for him. He really does work his ass off every game. It may not translate into points but he really does put the effort in every time.

Our passing looks pretty crisp, although that long pass to Fil was a suicide deal. He’s luck he didn’t get lined up.
