It’s A Live Blog, Almost KK Style

Paul here, filling in for VooX who is filling in for IwoCPO.

VooX tells me I have been selected to do the live blog for superstitious reasons, so here I am.

Big game and VooX also tells me you demand some ‘Detroit Punk’.

So with that, here you go…

Almost live from Wayne State University, it is the MC5.

Also, I hear mules have a long memory, so expect our Mule to have a good game tonight.

One more thing… One of the reasons Iginla has not scored in the last 19 regular season games against Detroit-

Part of the credit for Iginla’s drought goes to D Nick Lidstrom, the elegant defender of the Wings.

“But that’s too long to not have a goal. I can’t tell you why,” said Iginla, “but obviously (Lidstrom) is part of that. I hope to change that.”

Thanks for filling in, Paul.

This game gives me the playoff pre-game nerves. It is a biggie.

There is no way we can lose to Calgary tonight, and then put so much pressure on ourselves to win in Calgary in six days. A win tonight is about as close to a “must” as we’ve had all year.

I was able to hack Voox’s web cam. Here he is getting in touch with his inner emo girl. You can almost hear the dulcet tones of Morrissey. Black finger nail polish, too. He is really taking one for the team.

Well, it doesn’t look like VooX has cracked open the Twilight yet, but when he decides to, this is all you need to know (spoiler alert!): a werewolf falls in love with a baby.

I have pre-game angst, but it doesn’t look anything like that.

Hey everyone.

I will have to put my kid to bed during the second period which could be horrifying or awesome.  I’m on board the stress train already.

Good song choice tonight.

BTW Bitches, as I climb into my ride, heading for the casa after my time at the mine; what comes on the radio?

So today I ordered HBO in prep for the premier of the Pacific. I’m overly excited. Oh yeah and I’m not going to be here for the LB. Instead I will be at the game. 2nd row. Telepathically wishing that Kipper from the Olympics (specifically) the one from the USA game shows up tonight smile

Lolita was more emotionally mature than the female lead in Twilight.

If you haven’t checked out the p-shop galleries at Puckdaddy for his Rosby golden roar contest, you should. There is one from the restaurant scene in When Harry Met Sally. Rosby is Meg Ryan and Lil’ Gary is Billy Crystal.

Well, that’s just part of the plot of the fourth book.  And he was in love with her mother first, but Mom was in love with a vampire who proceeded to plant his lifeless seed within her.  But it’s OK, because he insisted on marrying her first!

If any of the protagonists in Nabokov’s Lolita were half this fauxed up, it would be called Maury.

I have to admit, though, everything I’ve learned about Twilight comes from my teenage cousins and various online parodies.
