So I did a little research today. The kind we’ve become famous for here at A2Y. And I found some tidbits I think you’ll find interesting.
Of all the teams that have lost a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals? None, and I mean none, have won more than 40 games the next season.
Of all the teams to have started a season 0-2, none have defeated the team that finished directly behind them in the division the previous season the first time they played them the current year.
Of all the teams to lose a 40-goal scorer, none have won more than 27 games the next year without replacing that 40 goal scorer with at least a 30 goal scorer.
Of all the teams to have signed a mass murderer, none have won more than three games the following season.
I totally made all that shit up. It’s a Live Blog bitches. And it’s time to see if our Wings have an ounce of pride, just an ounce.
Right some wrongs MF’ers.

I’ll be missing the LB as well. I’ll be watching the game most likely tomorrow morning on the NHL Gamecenter Live thing. Unless I come home tonight to find out the SOBs lost, in that case I don’t think I could bring myself to watching the game.
Dad’s gonna bitchslap the Kids tonight. Again. They still haven’t learned to keep their yaps shut, so now they get Dangled, then kicked by a Mule and a guy named Hank. You never mess with a guy named Hank. Or Jonny Ericsson.

If it’s NHL network choosing, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Chicago feed. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Maple Leafs home announcers calling it.

Welcome home to all the International Gamewreckers. I have tickets for the Wings vs Flyers in April so maybe I’ll be and East Coast game saver. I know I need to make sure I watch my back down there. I might get stabbed by a whacked out Flyers fan.
There was an incident a few nights ago where Flyers fans actually stabbed each other after a game.Maybe a flak jacket or something under my Wings jersey. Bitches.
