Two things:
(1) The first Zetterberg injury scare of the season has apparently come to an end.
Henrik Zetterberg will return to the lineup for tonight’s game against Blues, after missing two games with a sore groin. He will center a line with Johan Franzen and Mikael Samuelsson. Darren McCarty was activated from injured reserve but will not play tonight.
(2) I’ll be landing in Vegas at 2200 EST.
I’m pre-staging the live blog to kick off at game time. I’ll try and make it for the third period.

I have noticed an increase in the Navy ads on the boards around the rink… Maybe Chief got a bonus for it or something?

I hate to be the voice of unbridled optimism, but I don’t feel good about this game. Bluess are on a hot streak, we’re whipping out the (very capable) Conk, looking disoriented and have had a few days off after winning. Did we keep that momentum? Are Homer and Hossa going to continue? Will Meech play himself into the lineup so that we don’t have to worry about Lilja?
And I can’t live blog cause…well I’ll tell you later if all goes well. If not, I’m just ignoring you bitches.

LOL! You do know that there is indeed a Coast Guard outpost at a little town just outside of Laughlin, Nevada called Cal-Nev-Ari. Yes, a Coast Guard outpost.
Anyway, I don’t know anything about Chief being in town until I read this entry. As it is, I’ll make sure the sweet ladies of the night to look for a good-lookin’ feller with a big anchor.
