Khan(!): Hasek Out Sunday, Chelios Possible

According to the DD Captain,
Dominik Hasek came in for treatment on his sore thigh but did not go on the ice and won’t dress for Sunday’s game vs. Colorado, as Chris Osgood gets his second straight start. Chris Chelios (groin) said he thinks he’ll be able to play, but coach Mike Babcock said it would be a game-time decision.
A little refresher for those of you just boarding the Mike Babcock party train: when he tells Ansar Khan a player is a “game time” decision, it means he’s press box bound. No chance Chelios plays tomorrow.
More from Khan(!).

Yo, Mike! Did you gain that erudition while earning your BA from McGill? Maybe it translates better in Swedish.

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. You see, the thing about that injury is that he has a bit of a leg. It’s not a big deal, but like I told Stevie, “Sometimes you have to leave a leg alone.”
What’d I say?
Anyway, so we’re going to take a look at the leg later on, and if it’s still where it’s at we’ll still be where we’re at, until we’re not there, and talking about it isn’t going to change anything, so let’s just talk it through and we’ll be fine. So, we’re going to take a look at it later on, and if it’s still… wait, did I already say that? Who asked me that question?
