The Wings return to the land of sunshine and silicone for yet another afternoon weekend game.
Thanks to Gary. Ass’ schedule it is the third weekend in a row we play an afternoon game.
But I am in a very bad mood about our last game, and that means today’s LB will feature some nipping and tucking of song choices.
Kronwall is out, as is May who is replaced by Maltby today. I know this because our good friend Jeff from OK told me so in today’s GDT. You see, the past couple of days I haven’t been able to stomach any work of our Diggers. I don’t need drooling analysis of what we all know is a lack of heart and commitment on the Red Wings. I’ll stick to reading the 19 and their blogs for insight with some venom. God bless them all, each and every one of them.
After the amazing victory in San Jose to drop a turd in Anaheim has everybody pissed off. And rightfully so.
So until the Wings start winning games, as we know they are capable of doing, there will be no musical selections for the Live Blog.
If the Wings make us suffer, we shouldn’t sugar coat the LB’s with fun musical choices. It is the homestretch of the season now, the time for fun and games is over. It is time to put the skate to the throat and press down. Bitches.

The fact that we don’t have Leino to deal with anymore makes me automatically more optimistic about today’s game.

I’ve always been confused as to how exactly I should say “Gary. Ass”.
Is it Gary (dot) Ass...like a website (http://www.gary.ass/clusterfcuk) or as a pause. Gary (pause) Ass.
I would understand if I am not privy to this kind of insider information, but this has always perplexed me.

Los Angeles is on a roll and playing very well. The Kings are right now a better team, I think. I don’t expect a win for Detroit in this one.
Of course, it would be just like them to win anyway - and then drop their next two games via skills competitions.

I need to find a new apartment and today is the only spare time i have to go out and look at some places. Being a part-time working student leaves me with very few options…
So. Here is to hoping I find a nice new affordable place and a good Red Wings win to come home to.

I think the *ucks just have the Wings’ number this season. Their forwards match up favourably (in their favour, obviously) to our defence, and there’s not a whole lot they can do about it.

It is no mystery how the Ducks have manhandled us with what I consider inferior talent.
It is their vigorous forecheck, pressing our D into errors, frantic passes and broken plays. About the same game plan that every team that has beat the Wings in the last 2 seasons have used.
I am afraid today’s game will be ugly.
It is gonna hurt....
Keep the painkillers handy.

I took something easy to understand like a standings list then complicated it with graph-like lines and axis and made it difficult to understand. But what he said is true, we need to win.
