LB: The Wings Go To LA Seeking A Surgically Enhanced Victory

The Wings return to the land of sunshine and silicone for yet another afternoon weekend game.
Thanks to Gary. Ass’ schedule it is the third weekend in a row we play an afternoon game.
But I am in a very bad mood about our last game, and that means today’s LB will feature some nipping and tucking of song choices.
Kronwall is out, as is May who is replaced by Maltby today. I know this because our good friend Jeff from OK told me so in today’s GDT. You see, the past couple of days I haven’t been able to stomach any work of our Diggers. I don’t need drooling analysis of what we all know is a lack of heart and commitment on the Red Wings. I’ll stick to reading the 19 and their blogs for insight with some venom. God bless them all, each and every one of them.
After the amazing victory in San Jose to drop a turd in Anaheim has everybody pissed off. And rightfully so.
So until the Wings start winning games, as we know they are capable of doing, there will be no musical selections for the Live Blog.
If the Wings make us suffer, we shouldn’t sugar coat the LB’s with fun musical choices. It is the homestretch of the season now, the time for fun and games is over. It is time to put the skate to the throat and press down. Bitches.

FUCH. All of that starts because of Lebda’s shitty failed clear.

That hold by Kopitar on Bert was twice as bad as Bert’s penalty in the first.
But the reputation thing and all….
Posted by MOWingsfan19 on 02/06/10 at 05:07 PM ET
In fairness, Cleary also could have been called for tackling a Kings’ player down low in the first too.
ROLLERBALLER!

Dangle betwixt the legs….sweet.

Lebda can’t be traded soon enough. Jimmah firm.

Good, active sticks from Datsyuk and then Rafalski on that shift.

Okay, so what’s with yelling the seemingly random combination of words (except “roflcopter”)? I must have missed something somewhere along the way…

And Buckets stays on the bench. A fuching gamer, that one.

Red, it’s a ‘Rookie of the Year’ reference. I’ve explained it twice.
Posted by J.J. from Kansas on 02/06/10 at 05:12 PM ET
Fuch. Kings have too much momentum right now. Fuchers.

FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
That was all Stuart, from the shitty breakout pass to not clearing Frolov.
Posted by RedMenace from the darkest recesses on 02/06/10 at 05:12 PM ET
Is anyone surprised that a botched clearing attempt turned into a goal against?
Posted by DetroitHockey on 02/06/10 at 05:13 PM ET
Just F^*king stand around and watch fellas, leave it up to Jimmah…..
Posted by HockeyTownTodd on 02/06/10 at 05:13 PM ET
F all day long behind the net but couldn’t clear.
Was just going to say does anyone else feel that if LA gets the first one the next 3 are gonna come quick?

Third time’s the charm?
Never seen that particular film, so I’ll just have to take your word for it.

Stuart can be such a dumbass.
Posted by pilgrim from the ice at the bottom of the world on 02/06/10 at 05:14 PM ET
We need a timeout and a good screaming at.
Posted by stayouttamalibu from Temporarily in Tempe, AZ on 02/06/10 at 05:14 PM ET
Stuart for Vezina. Meech will be runner up.
I feel bad criticising Stuart as he was amazing the first half of the year. But enough is enough, what happened to him?
Posted by VooX from Behind the Bar in the Hasek Club Car on 02/06/10 at 05:15 PM ET
Howard isn’t going to bail you out EVERY TIME Stuart

Short answer: The rookie of the year kid is named Rowengartner. His coach can’t get his name right for the life of him and spends the whole movie calling him odd combinations of names.
Posted by J.J. from Kansas on 02/06/10 at 05:15 PM ET
FSN West is focusing on Oscar Moeller. Why? I do not know.

Wow, that was a close, CLOSE one.
Bounce back, boys. Pot another one.

Since the playoffs last year, Stu’s had two levels: Terrific and Dumb as Shit. I love the guy, but his mistakes tend to be glaringly Lilja-esque.
Tuzzi ... damn.
Posted by Bella on 02/06/10 at 05:17 PM ET
Bert’s all feast or famine. He doesn’t care which, as long as people are suffering.

You didn’t actually have to explain it… saying it was from “Rookie of the Year” was enough for me.
Thanks for taking the time out to humour the more brain-dead among us, though.

Okay, Heidi Andorol is taking off articles of clothing and the Kings score.
I’ll have to be perfectly honest here: I hope the score is like, 8-7 Wings.
