I was hoping for a game-winner from Federov, for old-times sake. That team played so hard, but Briere is killing them.

Yeah, Baroque. Real good one. Strange coincidences, and it’s pretty awesome that he played such a punishing game with old small shoulder pads.
Bubba playing a little puck-posession of their own toward the end of that period. Still, I’ll take the 1-0. Bathroom break and whiskey refill await.

REASON TO STRESS - Red Wings have outplayed and outchanced them pretty badly yet are only one bad bounce, one breakaway from a tie game and its resulting sphincter restriction.
For God’s sake get 2 quick goals and get some separation here, dammit! This stress train is picking up steam and headed downhill for an abrupt 90 degree turn.

I would be really happy if the Wings would either commit all the way to blocking the shot or step aside instead so the goalie can see it instead of stepping in front of the shot legs together at the last minute thus screening the sweet holy hell out of our goalies.
They’ve done it all year but with it being the playoffs my acid reflux is on overdrive and could live without that little bout of panic every time I see them do it.
Oh and way to go Flipper.

I think a 2-1 or 3-2 game allows Nashville to believe they’re still in the series. We need to win and win big. Let ‘em know it’s over now. Sunday will be the topping off of the series. GO WINGS!
