So my son learned a few new words tonight. They were directed at Ozzie and Sammy. I’m sure his preschool teacher is going to be thrilled.

I don’t want guys getting injured lying down to block shots from up high still so early in the season, but I can’t help but think how many fewer goals against we would have if the forwards started doing it.

I literally cannot remember a single time in my life when I wasn’t worried about Detroit goaltending. Even Hasek had me wondering if he would self destruct any second. God, for a great team we sure are tormented.
Being a Wings fan is like holding an ice cream cone with seven scoops stacked on top of each other. We have the ultimate treat, but at any second we know it can all fall apart.
