More Coal Please: Draper Out For Games 1 and 2

Let’s just go ahead and declare the Stress Train open for business, shall we?

Khan(!)

Wings center Kris Draper won’t play in the first two games against Columbus due to the upper-body injury that sidelined him for the last two games of the season. His availability beyond that has yet to be determined.

Draper still was able to practice.

Also, forward Dan Cleary left practice early after getting checked along the boards by Niklas Kronwall. Coach Mike Babcock said he didn’t have an update on Cleary’s status for Game 1 Thursday.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. Your suggestions and critiques are welcome: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
