More Perspective

Thousands of servicemembers from both our countries will spend this Christmas in hospital rooms.  If you have the chance to meet any of them, you’ll be struck by their pride in service and pride in country.  And by their toughness.

How tough are they?

Holy Cow.  Our military is served by some stand-up people…  “The best and the brightest”...  God Bless them, every one.

Yanno, it’s about friggin time…  Don’t come into my room, start with your crying, boohooing and spred your depressive corruption onto me.  Instead, when you come into my room, we will celebrate and dwell on the good things in life. Your admission fee to this party will be a block of cheddar and a six pack of cold ale.

Surprise me.

I love it.

God bless each and every one of them - they don’t get nearly enough credit for the job they do.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
