Once again, for the second time the last three games, I’ll be missing the live blog tonite, DVRing the game and sitting through an official
function trying not to soil the cloth of our nation. I’ll be receiving your comments and emails throughout and won’t read a single one. Don’t
try to send me notes and trick me either, the ones titled, “Your House Is On Fire”. You almost got me last time but it didn’t work.

I know that Lilja has become this years whipping boy… but the son of a bitch keeps giving us so much ammunition. Unless he comes back at the same salary or a paycut… adios amigo.
He’s gone either way. Wings have too many talented young defensemen to keep putting up with Lilja’s weak shit. Guy is a liability every time he touches the ice. Dumb penalties, turn overs, missed assignments, the list goes on and on

Funny though, I’m not stressing badly at all. Wings just need to play like they did in the 1st period—and all should be well.
If they play like they did in the 2nd—well, they probably should all taken to the cat sacrifice alter to see what they put us through.

I know Uncle Mike is a good coach. I’ve seen him do some really great stuff behind the bench (throwing the Poultry bench into disarray in the WCF last year). But every time he puts Lilja on the ice I wonder what he’s thinking.
